This dancing eagle contains a great amount of detailing, embossed work, silver beads, and twisted silver, and the head is detachable.

This Kachina is 5¾" inches tall, the wingspan is 5" inches wide, and the base on which one foot is resting is 2 inches in diameter. The kachina has great fluidity and is hallmarked with Toby's usual "TH", and stamped Handmade Sterling Navajo. Toby Henderson was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and.

Belonged to the Bitter Water Clan. Toby's mother, Ella Long, his grandparents, Helen and Jim Long, and his Uncles Phillip and Tommy Long are all silversmiths and goldsmiths recognized for high quality and innovative workmanship. Toby learned his art from his grandparents with whom he spent the summer months when he was a boy. Toby was the first in his family to create freestanding "Holy People Figures" or kachinas, such as this one.

Sadly, Toby passed away in October 2019. His unique talent and creativity lives on in his beautiful dancing eagles, such as this one.
