The eagle is described as originating in Ptolemaic kingdom during the 1st. The figure is 20mm tall, 8mm wide, 5mm thick and weighs 2.4gm. Its wings are closed in the typical position representing the Ptolemaic kingdom, while an eagle with open wings represented the Roman kingdom.

That this figure survived intact is a miracle. In the beautiful condition shown with any damage or imperfection described and shown in the photos.
