Listing is for 1980's Vintage Austria Star Collection Swarovski Crystal gold plated eagle. Eagle is 6.25 inches high.
Base is 2 3/8 inch circle. Item will come in original box. I did some research and learned that the Lencia Star Collection is a collection of handmade miniatures of cut crystal set in gilded gold, 22 carat.
They are all animal figures, very fine and detailed. While over time, the thin layer of gold can wear away and require replating. 2 Additionally, electroplated gold is not as valuable of an investment as real gold (24K) because it can fade over time with wear and tear. However, that said, these crystal animals were in a showcase, not handled and look the same as the day I bought them 40+ years ago.
